Hollywood heartthrob Logan Shroyer is serving up something special this weekend.

It’s the perfect mix of nostalgic goodness and the criminally underutilized, but emergent Thanksgiving movie genre.

We’re talking about, of course, A Waltons Thanksgiving, which promises to delight audiences both young and not-so-young. Big thanks to the CW for bringing us this #futureholidayclassic.

Shroyer, 23, plays John-Boy Walton in a new series of Waltons films based on the original TV series which ran from 1972 to 1981.

He is best known as the teenage Kevin (a.k.a. young Justin Hartley) on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning hit series This Is Us.

The legendary Richard Thomas (a.k.a. the original John-Boy) serves as the narrator of the upcoming film. *cue screaming moms everywhere*

You can watch A Waltons Thanksgiving exclusively on The CW this Sunday at at 8/7c, or stream it for free on Monday on the CW app.

P.S. Use #AWaltonsThanksgiving if you plan to live tweet your viewing experience!
